Clothing Swap Details For Earth Night Party

Swapping is eco-fashion at its best and really can make a difference. There are 160 million American women spending an average of $60 each month on clothes, while dumping six pounds of textile waste into the landfill. If every woman in America swapped rather than shopped for just 30 days, we could save $10 billion and one billion pounds of landfill waste—in just one month!

This swap will mainly be the first half of the night, however we will leave the clothes out until the end. Items to bring: any men's or women's clothes-dresses, skirts, pants, yoga/fitness wear, tank tops, shirts, sweaters, scarves, gloves, shoes, jewelry, bags, sunglasses, belts, coats, etc.

When you arrive with your swap items go to the check in table for the swap. Someone will be there to help you sort and put out your items. You will get one ticket for every item you bring. After you all your items sorted and get your tickets, you can then shop for items you would like. All items are for 'purchase' are one ticket as well.

On Earth Day, April 22nd, the Sustainable Business Council is holding their 4th annual Industry Achievement Awards. Get a 'new' outfit here at the swap to wear to the event!
