Happy New Year from LA Green Drinks!!
We hope your holidays were eco-fabulous. As we reflect on the highlights of 2010 and look forward to the changes that 2011 will bring, we wanted to say THANK YOU for being a part of LA's thriving green community. We strive to inspire and facilitate connections between eco-conscious people and the LA environmental community and thank you for participation.
We hope your holidays were eco-fabulous. As we reflect on the highlights of 2010 and look forward to the changes that 2011 will bring, we wanted to say THANK YOU for being a part of LA's thriving green community. We strive to inspire and facilitate connections between eco-conscious people and the LA environmental community and thank you for participation.
Together in 2010, we:
- Raised over $1,000 for Global Green relief efforts in Haiti. The contribution was used to help support the donation and shipment of a solar tent to the only film school in Haiti. The tent is being used as temporary shelter and is also providing electricity to charge cell phones, cameras and other small equipment.
- Raised over $500 for Art from the Ashes to rebuild Duekmejian Park which was ravaged by the station fires
- Supported over 35 different green businesses and events (Thank you for hosting us!)
- Welcomed over 500 new greendrinkers to LA
In 2011, we will be introducing a fresh new look and a new format:
We will host 1-2 events per month:
First Thursday - West side
Third Thursday - East side.
On select special event months we will host only one event.
